Live, in-person conferences have rebounded since the recession, and many producers are now reporting record attendance. Even for the tech-focused younger generation, face-to-face interaction with peers and other industry experts is still considered key to their success.

Not all SIPA members offer conferences. But those who do have found that face-to-face events can be extremely profitable, and are often a great way to support their main publishing business. Events are time- and resource-intensive, but when done right, are well worth the risks.

Conferences can be a potent part of any publisher’s offerings and can help you be more competitive. So if your company doesn’t have an event component, this webinar is your opportunity to find out what you can do to add successful face-to-face meetings to your product mix. And if you already offer conferences, you’ll get valuable ideas to improve or expand your event business, along with tips to make them even more profitable than they already are.

So how do you get started in the face-to-face event business? What can you do to offer great content while keeping your costs under control and your profitability on target? And how will adding an event component affect the structure of your business?

Get answers to these questions and more when you register to attend webinar #7 from The Book of Models, “Successful Conferences and Exhibitions: How to Produce Events That Deliver Great Customer Value, Increase Brand Awareness, and Generate Significant Revenue,” on July 10, 2013. Listen as Roger Wilson, an event developer with almost 30 years experience, offers ideas to help your company make money and meet other objectives in your face-to-face events. You’ll get proven approaches to event strategies, planning, budgeting, content development, marketing, logistics, and more. Whether you offer workshops, retreats, seminars, conferences, trade shows, or exhibitions, you’ll learn what it takes to create events that generate revenue, extend your brand, and meet the information needs of your market. Find out how to increase your chances of producing a successful event, reduce the possibility of disaster, and help you be better prepared as you approach an important event.

Register for this FREE (SIPA, SIIA, and ABM members) webinar today, then gather your entire team together to listen, learn, and get answers to your own specific questions. Whether you’re a publisher, event producer, marketer, or program manager—anyone who wants to produce profitable, face-to-face meetings—this is one webinar you can’t afford to miss.
